Family Attractions Carnival
April 15 – 19 opens 5 PM  |  Saturday, April 19 opens Noon

The exciting midway opens with rides, food, games of skill, and fun for the whole family.  Cost is $15.00 for a wrist band each day, Saturday is a split day morning/night.

Fiesta Grilling Class
Wednesday, April 16, 6 PM - ?  |  Winchester City Park, Citizens Pavilion

World-renowned chefs Bobbie & Lee McWright will present a cooking and grilling class presented by Fiesta University.  A new Fiesta Grill will be given away as well as other great door prizes.  Registration fee is $5.00.  Class limit of 125 and registration ends April 5, 2008 so sign up today!

Free Concert
Friday, April 18, 7 PM  |  Winchester City Park

Free concert performance by SLOE GIN - one of Middle Tennessee’s favorite local bands playing club dates, corporate events, and private parties. SLOE GIN plays a mix of Classic Rock, Southern Rock, and Dance music.

4H Chicken Q
Saturday April 19, 11 AM

Competitors are 4H members grades 6 – 12.  They will be cooking chicken to be judged by a panel of volunteers.


KCBS BBQ Contest
April 18 – 19

Teams will compete for over $12,000.00 in cash and trophies along with an additional $3,000.00 Triple Crown contest.

Food Vendors
April 18 – 19

There will be food vendors with BBQ, frozen drinks, pork rinds, giant loaded baked potatoes, roasted corn and more.  On the Carnival Midway you will find all the traditional favorites you love.

Motorcycle Poker Run
Saturday, April 19, 8 AM Registration  |  9 - 11 AM Begin Ride  | 2:20 PM Awards

The proceeds for this event benefit St. Jude's Hospital and the Kiwanis Charity fund to purchase two hearing test machines for special needs students in Franklin County.  Riders will leave between 9 AM and 11 AM from the Babe Ruth Field and City Park and return by 2 PM.  Don't miss the awards at approximately 2:30 PM.  See the flyer below for details.
